Letter to Congressman Dave Brat
I’m glad to see that you’re opposed to the AHCA bill and look forward to your “NO” vote on Thursday. With so many in Congress from across the political spectrum opposed to the bill, with $65 billion dollar slush funds to “encourage” (shall we say) votes, with White House threats of “primarying” those who don’t fall in line, and with no support or buy-in from hospital, physician or insurance groups … this is clearly a bad piece of legislation that creates more problems than it solves. Stick to your guns, congressman. VOTE NO. And please, buttonhole your persuadable colleagues to do the same.
